Poetry Part #1

Phoenix

I will move on without you, you played your part
I will always love you no matter how much you shattered my heart
Why did I deserve this, what did I really do wrong
I am left here wanting to runaway but am chased by a song
I wanted you, I loved you, I gave it all to you but did you care?
I know you have already forgotten me but I still need to share
I am dead, something new has risen from the ash of you and me
I guess that the creation we have made of me is all of us that will ever be.

Shaken, Not Stirred

You yell harsh words at me, still I stand here strong.
You ridicule my voice, yet I sing out in song.
You hit me with stones and sticks; I refuse to bleed a drop.
You attack my race, sex, and family without refrain, I won’t tell you to stop.
No matter what  you say or do, one day to you it will finally have occurred
No matter what you did to me I was always Shaken, never stirred.

Mom’s World

More, more, more thats all my children say
Now, Now, Now, thats how they want everything every day
Turn on the tv, turn off the light, mommy I can’t hear it, Turn it up!
I want hot dogs, I want ice cream, I want cereal, I want Juice in my cup.
Let play a game, mom anna made a mess, Mom, Landon is wearing my dress!
Why is the sky blue? Where does god live? Why don’t you like daddy? Wear is my toy?
These are just the starts of being a mom... Sometimes I wish I had been a boy.
Mommy I love you, Your the best I’m your girl.
Never mind, I am happy in my own little crazy world
